General Entry Requirements, Subject Choice and Assessment

AS Programme Entry

Applicants seeking direct admission into the AS Programme must have:

  • Successfully passed LGCSE/IGCSE or equivalent
  • A minimum of four (4) C grades or better in four subjects
  • English Language must be included among the passed subjects
  • A minimum of D grade in at least two other subjects

Advanced Level Entry

Applicants seeking admission into Advanced Level must have:

  • Successfully passed AS Level
  • A minimum of 3 C grades
  • At least 1 D grade

Continuous Academic Monitoring and External Examination Standards

The Collegiate provides frequent tests and assignments aimed at ensuring that students perform phenomenally and ultimately obtain the best grades that enable them to be admitted into local and international universities of highly recognized standard of education.

It is worth noting that Bridging Programme Examinations are internally assessed, while Advanced Subsidiary and A Level Programmes are assessed by Cambridge Assessment International Education through effective monitoring of the Examinations Council of Lesotho.
